Rail travellers asked to rate facilities at Stanford station

RAIL travellers using Stanford-le-Hope station this morning were being given the opportunity to comment on the service it offers.

Train operator c2c has commissioned a survey about its services to and from the station and researchers were handing out survey forms.

Among the many questions passengers are being asked is how satisfied they are with Stanford station, which was recently largely demolished by Thurrock Council as part of a regeneration scheme that has proved a totally botched affair.

The council are considering their options after their initial scheme was found to be unworkable.

Among other questions passengers were being asked was how satisfied they are with toilet facilities at the station and how they rated eating and drinking facilities - there are none!
