BOROUGH MP Jen Craft was guest of honour at the official opening of a new Thurrock restaurant on Wednesday evening (12 February).

Together with family and friends of its directors and staff an enjoyable evening with entertainment was held at the Pasha Lounge restaurant in Grays which is in the refurbished premises previously known as the White Hart pub.

The Pasha Lounge's carefully-curated menu includes a variety of Mediterranean classics, signature dishes, and premium steakhouse options.

Ferdi Altindag and Amin Haque have taken on the premises, close to the Thames riverside, and have now opened for business.

Mr Altindag says: "Our menu brings the essence of the Mediterranean to Grays with rich, smoky charcoal-grilled meats like Adana Kofta and Lamb Shish, fresh seafood including grilled octopus and sea bass, and authentic starters such as hummus, babaghanoush, and tzatziki. We want every guest to feel the warmth of true Mediterranean hospitality."
