A RURAL road on the edge of the borough remains closed this morning (Tuesday, 28 June) following a burst water main.

The incident was reported yesterday on Nub News. Engineers from Essex and Suffolk Water stopped the flow along Bell Hill Road in Vange after several hours but were unable to complete repairs, which included a huge hole in the road.

The nearby Harvester Five Bells pub and restaurant remains open.
