Road resurfacing is completed early - London Road reopened

ENGINEERS carrying out resurfacing work on London Road in Stanford-le-Hope completed their efforts in double quick time today (Sunday, 6 July) and the road - which was due to be closed until lat afternoon is now reopen.

The work was carried out to make an area where predestrians cross safe as it have become increasingly worn, with trip hazards.

Work started early this morning and was scheduled to go on until 5pm,
