RESIDENTS in a borough village are being urged to make their views known to a neighbouring council after access on a vital link road is again due to be shut down.

Notices suggest that Fen Lane is going to be shut for six weeks again, starting Monday, 11 Spetmber.

Previious closures have casued considerable distruption to local residents in Bulphan and other rural enclaves in the north Thurrock area.

Now the chair of the village fium has urged residents to air their grievances, saying: "Please make your views known to Havering Council about the inconvenience and extra cost (financial and time) and the lack of communication so that we never seem to know whether Fen Lane can be used or not.
