E-fit of man wanted after Chadwell St Mary assault

POLICE officers investigating an assault in Chadwell St Mary in June have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak with in connection with their investigation.

A statement says: "We were called to Longhouse Road at around 10pm on 27 June following reports of a man being assaulted. The victim was approached by a man who confronted him before punching him in the face multiple times.

"The assault left the victim with injuries including a laceration to his eyebrow.  

"The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s who drove a black BMW.

"Enquiries into this assault have remained ongoing and officers are now releasing an e-fit image of a man we would like to speak with.
