ARTHUR Bugler Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope is celebrating after headteacher, John Bryant, won the 'Happiest School Employee' of the year Award at The National Happiness Awards 2019, hosted by Laughology.

Arthur Bugler's success continued throughout the night.

Teacher, Lucy Chipperfield was presented with the 'Highly Commended Runner-Up' Award in the Happiest School Employee category.

Finally, Arthur Bugler Primary was presented with the 'Commended Runner-Up' Award in the Happiest Primary School category.

The ceremony was an opportunity which brought together 'happiness heroes' from across the UK in aid of the very worthwhile cause, Haven House Children's Hospice.

Mr Bryant, said: "As a school we are delighted to be recognised for ensuring that our children are the happiest they can be because children learn best and thrive when they are happy!"
