Business backing lights up Aveley

By Neil Speight 25th Nov 2019

AVELEY Village Community Foundation have organised the annual Aveley Christmas tree lights and High St festive lights switch on for 3.30pm this Friday (29 November).

There will be a choir from Aveley Primary School singing carols.

Among honoured guests will be two local business supporters; Tina Varley (from B&P Scrap.Co Ltd) plus Dennis Mason (from the Nicky Mason Memorial Fund shop), who contributed £250 each towards the tree and lights that will brighten up Aveley throughout the Christmas period. The total cost of the lights is more than £1,000.

Tina has been asked to do the grand 'switch-on' this year.
