Scouting welcome for Santa and villagers

VILLAGERS in East Tilbury have been enjoying a warm Christmas welcome offered by local scouts, guides, cubs, beavers and brownies.

Members of all the village scouting and guiding groups have spent weeks preparing a display and for the last three nights have been playing host to residents.

The scouts also offered the opportunity for Santa to drop in to ask local children what they would like for Christmas.
