A CANCER charity has benefitted from a donation of £1,468 thanks to the efforts of staff at a Corringham store.

On Sunday, 1 November members of the team at Morrisons in Corringham walked from the store to Southend Pier and the money they raised for the Clic Sargent cancer charity through sponsorship has been match-funded by Morrisons.

One of the event organisers, who took part in the walk, was store community champion Samantha Ralph who says: "I am so proud of this achievement.

Thank-you to everyone who donated towards this total."
