A LONDON thief has been banned from Lakeside Shopping Centre for three years, following an investigation by Lakeside Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Latoyah Williams, 37, was issued with a three-year criminal behaviour order at Chelmsford Crown Court on 4 September.

She must not enter Lakeside Shopping Centre or Homesense in Lakeside Retail Park during that time. If she does, she faces another court hearing with the possibility of a fine or a jail term.

Last month, Williams was convicted at the same court of 11 counts of shop theft between 26 June and 7 November 2025. She was sentenced to six weeks' jail, suspended for 12 months and ordered to complete 35 days of rehabilitation activity.

The court heard then that Williams, of Gilder Avenue, Enfield, had stolen more than £2,500 of clothing and household items, including cushions, from various shops at Lakeside Shopping Centre, including H&M, Pull & Bear and Zara, as well as from Homesense stores in Lakeside Retail Park & Harlow and Next in Chelmer Village Retail Park, Chelmsford
