Shop worker assaulted in Corringham baby milk snatch

POLICE have confirmed they investigating a baby milk snatch from a shop in Corringham in which a store worker was assaulted.

A statement from Essex Police says:

"We are investigating reports yesterday, Thursday 19 March, that two women assaulted a shop worker before stealing items.

"We received information at around 1.20pm that a shop worker in Boots in St John's Way, Corringham, was barged by women who had filled their bags up with baby milk.

They then left with the items before driving off."
