C2c rail passengers were stuck at stations across the region waiting for the backlog of services to clear. This was the scene at Chafford Hundred.

COMMUTERS using the region's c2c rail links met with significant delays this morning (Wednesday, 1 March) with many services cancelled.

The problem was a fault with the signaling system between West Ham and Barking train services.

Just after 8am the company said trains across the whole c2c network were returning to normal but some services might still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
