Six of the worst pay penalty as officers crack down on speeding in town

ESSEX police traffic officers have mounted an operatiuon in South Ockendon in response to residents' concerns about speeding motorists.

Officers from the force's roads policing team were out and about in the Ockendon area yesterday having been alerted to the issue by residents.

A statement from the police says: "Lots and of education offered and six drivers received tickets."
