The Port of Tilbury is seeking an engineering technician.

In this role as an Engineering Technician within the Central Plant Engineering (CPE) team at the Port of Tilbury, you will support the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of a wide range of key port equipment and systems. This includes mobile harbour cranes, heavy plant machinery, infrastructure systems, and other associated assets vital to port operations.

You will play a hands-on role in delivering high equipment availability through planned preventative maintenance, responding swiftly to breakdowns, and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives. This position is essential to supporting the port’s goals of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

The port is also looking for a shift technician (grain and bulks).

As an Engineering Technician, you will be Undertake planned maintenance, breakdown repair and condition monitoring activities of plant and equipment
