STUDENTS from St Clere's School and Sixth Form in Stanford-le-Hope have delivered on their mission to help other young people at Christmas.

Last week Nub News reported on students from the sixth form attending Thurrock Foodbank in Corringham to deliver boxes of advent calendars to be distributed with food packages to local youngsters whose families use the charity.

And today (Wednesday, 3 December), in support of the Kideco Give a Gift appeal at Lakeside Shopping centre, youngsters delivered hundreds of toys and gifts which deprived young people had put on their Christmas Tree wish list.

The youngsters at St Clere's have been assisted by Sixth Form Support Officer Julie Willett who accompanied them to Lakeside today to hand over the items which had been collected from students across the school and sixth form, and wrapped by children and staff.
