Steve completed a capital challenge to help son Archie and charity that supports him

By Neil Speight 29th May 2022

A THURROCK man completed today's 100 mile 'Ride London' cycle challenge to help raise funds and awareness of the charity that helped his son.

Steve Hardingham rode the Ride London - 100 mile cycle around Essex today (Sunday, 29 May) as a way of supporting the TOFs Charity - raising money for those who are born unable to breathe and swallow like his son, Archie.

Previous fundraising and awareness events by Archie's family have featured on Thurrock Nub News.

After completing his marathon effort today Steve said: "Along with two other riders, I completed the challenge after months of training and puncture repairs!

"Thankfully, no punctures during the real ride! Starting at Embankment and crossing Tower Bridge at the finish.

"There was an amazing atmosphere around the City with supporters and riders travelling from around the country for the event.
