Store to store for cancer charity

By Neil Speight 1st Aug 2020

A HAPPY band of fundraisers stepped out into the heat of the midday sun today (Saturday, 1 August) to boost a cancer charity.

A group of five took part in a sponsored walk from Morrisons in Grays to the sister store in Corringham.

They were walking for Clic Sargent and residents are invited to sponsor then via this link .

The event was organised by Grays store community champion Tarnya Bennett and among those joining her was Tom Flynn of the local Prince's Trust who said: "Ready for our walk to Morrison in Corringham (10miles) for 'Clic Sargent' with some of Morrisons staff who have been supporting us throughout this pandemic.

"They have been donating essentials for our community. Now it's our turn to support them."
