Sue branches out into the world of online publishing in her latest venture

A BOROUGH-based journalist, TV commentator and beautician has launched a new magazine.

Sue Moxley from South Ockendon, is a leading UK beauty expert.

Starting her career as a photographic model she worked her way around the world, becoming a makeup artist on photographic shoots and TV commercials making up some of the worlds top celebrities. She later became beauty editor of the Sun Newspaper and launched her makeup brand "Famous" into Superdrug Stores Nationwide.

She has presented several TV makeover shows and appeared on television as a beauty expert and regularly contributed to Netmums and The Huffington Post.

Now she's launched into the world of independent online publishing, together with creative director Paola Minekov and lifestyle editor Abby Knight. The trio have created Elysium which covers a host of topics including fashion & beauty, health & wellness, art & culture, travel, cuisine and home & garden sections.

Sue, who is married to former pop star and TV reality show competitor David Day - who is also a Thurrock councillor representing Orsett - says: "It's a magazine for lifestyle for the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s age groups.

"We cover everything from health, fashion, beauty, mental health, menopause, art, travel, gardening and animals.

"There's something there for everyone."
