Mayor Cllr Sue Shinnick is hosting fundraising even for local children's cancer charity.

RESIDENTS and businesses in Thurrock are being invited by borough mayor Cllr Sue Shinnock to enjoy a tasty afternoon tea – and help one of her civic charities.

Cllr Shinnick has arranged an afternoon tea charity fundraising event at Stifford Hall Hotel, High Road, North Stifford, RM16 5UE to raise funds for the MCA Trust

The Trust helps children with cancer by providing support to local young cancer patients throughout their treatment process,  delivers necessary breaks and essential equipment for their support throughout their journey.

The event will begin at 1pm where sandwiches, cakes and scones will be served. Afterwards, there will be a raffle in support of Trust.

Tickets for this fundraising event cost £30 per person. For more information about the event and how to book contact the Mayor's office on 01375 366325 or email [email protected].
