A master of his craft links up to tickle taste buds

A CHEF who found a new career and fame thanks to an appearance on a TV cooking show has launched an innovative new business venture via a borough golf club.
Anurag Aggarwal, from Langdon Hills was a MasterChef UK Finalist in 2023, and has since turned his passion into his profession by supplying pre-prepared meals for cooking at local outlets.
The food 'Pods' are prepared to order for retail outlets to either cook and prepare for their customers directly – or to sell on.
One of the first to partner with Anurag is Langdon Hills Golf Club where general manager Tony Dunstan said: "We're proud to welcome POD Meals to our food and beverage offering at the club and excited to announce our new collaboration with Anurag and the incredible team at POD Meals.

"After experiencing the quality and flavour of their food firsthand, the decision to work together was an easy one. POD Meals' commitment to locally sourced produce, sustainable practices, and mouth-watering recipes aligns perfectly with our values and vision at the club.
"As part of this partnership, we're now offering a delicious new selection of POD Meals as part of our on-site menu—fresh, wholesome, and packed with flavour.
"We're also delighted to make their beautifully packaged meals available for purchase, so members and guests can take the same great taste home after a day out on the course. It's the perfect way to enjoy nourishing, chef-crafted food after some fresh air and exercise."
Anurag said: "Food and sports bring people together, and what could be a better venue than the lush green golf course at Langdon Hills Golf and Country Club. POD meals offer food, which is full of flavour, goodness, and love. We all deserve a special meal, after an amazing round of golf in this stunning weather.
"I look forward to working together with Tony and his team."
