MORE than 350 talented young performers came together with the Thameside Young Producers at the Thameside theatre at the weekend to raise hundreds of pounds for two local good causes.

They performed two sell out shows entitled 'SHINE'. Funds were raised for Avery Brake, who is undergoing treatment for Leukaemia, and to donate towards equipment for a Sensory room.

The fully inclusive shows also featured Kennedy and Marli Mercer. Kennedy lives her life to the full with SMA Type 1 and TYP are proud to perform with her.

A statement from Young Producers said: "We should like to thank the Principals from Dance2drama Tip Toe Stage Schoo,l Born2Perform BBs Dance Academy and Elite Dance Academy (who came straight from Disneyland Paris), La Dance Fantastique, Legends Theatre School, Thunder Productions, Creative Blast Performing Arts Academy, Hotsteps, Occasional Dance, Dreams Theatre School, Dance World and Lorraine's School of Dance for all of their continued commitment to bring their students to these shows over the past 11 years.
