A THIEF has been shamed on film, stealing gifts left by a Bulphan householder for the waste collection crews.

The CCTV footage was published on social media of the theft from a home.

Householder Lisa Young said: "For probably 20 years I have left tubs of sweets for the refuge collectors. I always tape them on top of bins and my partner puts them out around 5.30am in the morning!

"I'm not always in or I don't hear them when they arrive but this morning this scumbag stole them before they even arrived!

"Yes it's petty crime but how low can someone go?"
