PLANs have been submitted to Thurrock Council to build a double storey rear extension behind a high street shop to create three new self-contained homes.

The proposal for the site, at 20 Corringham Road, Stanford-le-Hope is to create an additional three flats, while retaining the existing retail frontage and flat above.

The development proposes two studio flats and one one-bedroom duplex flat, in addition to the existing two-bedroom flat above the retail unit.

The applicants, Dreams Property Holdings Ltd, do not anticipate any traffic issues as they say the scheme will be 'car free'.

Full details of the scheme and the opportunity to comment can be found via this link.
