THIS evening (Thursday, 2 September) the Thames Chase fifth annual art exhibition was launched online.

The exhibition will be live to view virtually from 7pmvia this link and in person at Thames Chase Forest Centre at Broadfields, Pike Lane, Upminster, from Friday, 3 September.

The exhibition featured more than 60 pieces of work on display and for sale – ranging from £10 to £3,500, with a wide range of local artists, both amateur and professional, showing off their work

The works on display are inspired by what can be seen and found throughout the Thames Chase Community Forest covers 40 sq. miles in Thurrock, Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Brentwood.

Thames Chase Trust is an environmental charity managing and promoting the Forest, working with local communities to improve that landscape and to ensure that access to the countryside for local people and visitors, is improved.

Penny Morgan, curator of the exhibition says: "We are very excited to be delivering our fifth Annual Arts and Culture event this year in an exciting way. We love to continuously evolve the exhibition, and this year it really has grown bigger and better.

"With both a live and virtual experience for all our guests, we aim to make our arts and culture event accessible and enjoyable for all and expand the viewing to hundreds more visitors through social media. Please do take the opportunity to view and even purchase a piece of this incredible exhibition."
