Thurrock-based music and arts group leads the way with community connection

A THURROCK-based music and arts operation is spearheading a series of online links to help people in the region cope with the coronavirus pandemic.
Thames Delta Radio and Quest Music Services which are based at the Thameside Complex in Grays will be hosting live online events from April 2020. These live events can be watched and interacted with on all social media platforms including Youtube, taking place six days a week.
Dorion Quest, the man behind the two organisations, says: "The creative community is coming together nationaly to support each other and raise money that may be needed during this difficult time."
Supported by Arts Council England and public donations from Thurrock's citizens the weekly program will include.
• Home schooling broadcasts from QMS music tutors and Teachers from Thurrock's Schools• Online Virtual Open Mic Nights a platform for up and coming musicians and hobbyist
• Virtual Festivals showcasing music and visual art• Live DJ Sets daily from 5pm til 10pm featuring 40 local DJ's and internationly known celebraties
• Box fit be tutored and get fit online with the nation• Live vitual music events featuring Live Bands and Singer Song writers
They will all be broadcast from UNIT a dedicated broadcast studio located on the second floor in The Thameside Complex. The above daily events will be supporting arts and culture and raising money to help support vital and essential aid for those effected by Covid 19/Corona Virus. Our Thurrock arts and culture is prepared and will stay strong working together."
