Thurrock Coronavirus numbers double

THE number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Thurrock has doubled to six.

After a lengthy period with no reported cases, the first was announced on Sunday and two more were confirmed on Wednesday and Thursday.

But the latest figures from Public Health England show there are now six cases in the borough.
