ROADWORKS on Grays on Sunday (14 February) will cause some disruption, including to local bus services.

From 8am to 5pm Lodge Lane will be closed for resurfacing work between the Daneholes roundabout and Southend Road in a westerly direction (towards Lakeside) only.

Ensign Buses say the 73A service towards Lakeside will be diverted via Chadwell Road and won't be able to serve Wood View, Socketts Heath or Southend Road.

There will also be local disruption on Wednesday, 17 February from 8am to 5pm when Waterson Road in Chadwell St Mary will be closed between Claudian Way and Sabina Road, also for resurfacing work.

Ensign routes Routes 77 & 83 will divert between Longhouse Road and Cross Keys. Buses will be unable to serve Claudian Way and Waterson Road bus stops

As reported on Thurrock Nub News Thurrock Council is currently using up available funds for road repairs.

Work is also planned for two consecutive days on Sunday, 14 and Monday, 15 February from 9.30am to 3.30pm on London Road in Stanford-le-Hope.

During the two days traffic will be controlled by a multi-way signal and bus stops adjacent to the work will be suspended and parking bays outside 58 to 64 London Road will be suspended.
