MEMBERS of Thurrock Council's staff have received national recognition for Thor work, winning a bronze award at the Public Sector Transformation Awards in the Community Focus category.

The award recognised the work of the council's micro-enterprise programme which increases the number and availability of small personalised services which increase choice, promote independence and gives social users more choice in sourcing support that works for them across the borough
