Thurrock election results by ward: Aveley. Labour's grip is thrown aside

Another deep blow to Thurrock Labour was delivered in Aveley where three Reform candidates took the available seats - all polling more than a thousand votes.
One of the winners who will have savoured the victory is George Monk, who has done much of the behind-the-scenes work for his colleagues as the local party agent.
