Thurrock fourth in table of regional house price increases

A NEW survey has revealed Thurrock sits fourth in a national league table (outside London) of house price increases over the past ten years.

In 2010 the average price of a house in Thurrock was £157,655 and today it is £273,062, an increase of £73.20 per cent.

And the survey, by cashlady.com predicts that by 20130 the average price could rise to £472,000.

Top of the table, with an increase of £74.92 per cent to an average price of £290,068 is Harlow with Southend-on Sea second and Watford third.

In London the biggest rise was in Waltham Forest, where the average price has more than doubled to £437.867!

The research was completed using data from the Land Registry.
