ONE of Thurrock's busiest garden centres is to reopen on Tuesday (12 May).

Thurrock Garden Centre on South Road, South Ockendon has been trading as a delivery-only service but will open its doors - under strict social distancing guidelines - on Tuesday.

Opening hours will be from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesperson for the centre said: "We are opening with permission from Trading Standards and Environmental Health at Thurrock Council.

"We will have strict customer guidance for social distancing in place in store to keep our customers and team safe so please abide by these if you are visiting.

"We would like to thank our customers for their patience and co-operation during this time."
