By Neil Speight   5th Mar 2022

A MAN from Thurrock has been charged in connection with a large-scale investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Essex.

Specialist officers from the Essex Police serious and organised crime unit, alongside the operational support group, executed a warrant in Grays in the early hours of yesterday (Thursday, 3 March).

A statement from Essex Police says: "During a search of the property, a quantity of cash and what we believe to be Class A drugs were seized.

"A man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine."

Sokol Zaimi, 46, of Buscombe Avenue, in Grays, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine between March and June 2020.
