Thurrock man is one of five charged after drug raids by police

FIVE men including one from Thurrock, have been charged with drug offences after a series of warrants were carried out by specialist officers.

Officers executed ten warrants across Southend and Thurrock yesterday morning (Saturday, 10 April).

As a result, five men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

Four are from Southend but the fifth is from Thurrock; he is Gary Salvin, 41, of Biggin Lane on the outskirts of Tilbury.

The men are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday).
