By Neil Speight 18th Oct 2020

POLICE in Thurrock have spent busy Friday and Saturday evenings in a pro-active operation across Thurrock.

Over the past two nights (16 and 17 October), officers from CPT B shift have been conducting operations to tackle vehicle related criminality.

They have stopped more than 60 vehicles, gave out multiple tickets and recovered three suspected stolen vehicles including a vehicle that failed to stop.

A statement adds that officers' presence helped 'deter numerous suspected vehicle thieves.'
