RESIDENTS in Corringham are being invited to take part in a community litter pick this week.

It will take place on Thursday (30 July) and has been organised by Samantha Ralph, the local Morrisons Store community champion.

She says: "We will be collecting rubbish around town and throughout Corringham park.

"If you'd like to join me, then please be waiting outside Morrisons at 10am with a couple of black plastic bags and a pair of gloves preferably or maybe you have one those litter pickers that you could bring with you?

"Please wear a face mask throughout and keep to the social distancing guidelines.

"Thanks very much and I hope to see you there."
