PLANS have been submitted to Thurrock Council to turn a town centre office block in Stanford-le-Hope into 12 flats.

The application is to convert three-storey Claridon House, which is on a site adjacent to the town's rail station on London Road, into ten single bedroom and two double bedroom flats.

How the top floor would be laid out.

Details in the application are limited but say only the middle floor of the existing office space is currently in use.

There is on-site parking to the rear of the building which will comprise 11 spaces, three of which will be designated for disabled use.

Residents are being invited to comment on the proposal.
