AN application that has been twice refused, with an appeal still pending, has been resubmitted to build a new home on a plot of land in an already crowded residential area.

The application is for the demolition of an existing double garage, subdivision of the existing plot and construction of a new detached dwelling, including off-street parking, private garden amenity space and associated development at 32 Lancaster Road, Chafford Hundred.

Despite the previous refusals the applicant says the scale of the proposed dwelling is appropriate in relation to the character and appearance of the surrounding area.
