Tunnel approach delays

TRAFFIC approaching the Dartford Tunnel was delayed this afternoon following a two car collision.
The accident happened just after midday today (Sunday, 7 November) at Junction 2 when the exit slip road to the interchange was closed.
Traffic backed up to Junction 4.
By mid afternoon the accident was cleared and all lanes reopened and the backlog of traffic began to ease.
