THE Aldi store in Grays which has been closed for two weeks is set to reopen tomorrow (Monday, 8 November).

Staff have been spending the last couple if days restocking the store. It was hoped to have everything in place to open today but that has not proved possible.

There has been no official word from Aldi despite requests by the media as to the reasons for the closure.

Local reports and comments from staff have suggested the cause was a rodent infestation which caused problems with the store's electrics.

At one point the company's social media feed reported that the store would be permanently closed, but that was later retracted.
