Two injured in four vehicle crash on A13 slip road

TRAFFIC around the M25 junction 30 and on access roads including the A13 was delayed by an accident this morning (Monday, 29 September).
A four-vehicle crash on a slip roadoff the A13 at around 6am was the initial cause of the problem, but even when that had cleared the congestions was so heavy it took a while to clear.
Queues on the M25 stretched back about two miles for southbound traffic. A broken down lorry also caused delays on the A13, near Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Essex Police said four vehicles were involved in the crash and the East of England Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene. Two men were taken to Basildon University Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
National Highways said the area was clear by 8:45am.
