Two more flats added to Stanford site development

PLANNING officers have given approval to an application to increase the number of flats on a plot of land in Stanford-le-Hope.

The green light was given in October 2018 for the redevelopment of the Fairview Court site at Fairview Chase to provide six two-bedroom flats, and three, one-bedroom flats in one split-level block.

In October last year applicant Terry Dormner went back to the council and asked to add two further one bedroom flats to the same footprint.

Work had started on the site but completion was delayed to see if the additional flats would be approved and officers have now decided the additional dwellings are acceptable.
