Two teens arrested following probe into burglaries

THURROCK police have arrested two youths in connection with robbery investigations.
On Sunday, 15 June, local policing team officers were in South Ockenden when they spotted a youth who they wanted to speak to as part of their investigation into several recent robberies.
They stopped the teenage boy in the vicinity of Cawdor Avenue shortly after 9am, as they were on their way to his address!
He was arrested on suspicion of two robberies and of an attempted robbery.
The victims had reported that their phones were targeted.
All incidents took place in May.
The teenage boy was in company of another teenage boy who, as a result of enquiries made in the street, was also arrested on suspicion of the same three robberies.
