Vandals strike with fire at recreation field play area

FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a fire after vandals set light to play equipment in the park adjacent to Recreation Lane, Corringham over the weekend.

The climbing frame was damged by the blaze, which has prompted condemnation of the troublemakers from local residents.
