EAST Thurrock United's Rookery Hill ground played host to a charity football match on Sunday held to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The game between Tube Tech Sports and Towner Vets was a tribute to Jake Morgan.

Jake, who was 24, recently passed away from cancer. The match was originally planned to raise funds to help him obtain specialist treatment in Germany but in the wake of his death the organisers decided to carry on with the game as a tribute to him, with funds raised going to the charity.
