WHILE most of the remaining Covid restrictions may have been lifted, NHS staff in Thurrock are continuing to deliver a vaccination service in the borough.

Five days of walk-in vaccinations are coming to Aveley, Stanford-le-Hope, Tilbury and Corringham next week for anyone over 18 years of age.

Just turn up, no appointment needed for your first or second AstraZeneca or Pfizer jab at the following locations:

Monday, 2 August Aveley Football Club, Park Lane, Aveley 9am – 3pm

Tuesday, 3 August Hassengate Medical Centre, Southend Road, Stanford-Le-Hope 8am – 2pm

Wednesday, 4 August Asda Supermarket, Thurrock Park Way, Tilbury 9am – 3pm

Thursday, 5 August Corringham Town Centre 9am – 3pm

Friday, 6 August Asda Supermarket, Thurrock Park Way, Tilbury 9am – 3pm

There's no need to book an appointment in advance and you do not have to be registered with a GP or have an NHS number to be vaccinated. If you've already had your 1st dose, you must wait at least eight weeks before your second dose.
