Water service in Tilbury affected by maintenance work that led to need for urgent repairs

RESIDENTS in parts of Tilbury have suffered disruption to their water supplies today (Wednesday, 13 November) following workn by engineers in the town.

A statement from Essex and Suffolkk Water says: "Our network team carried out planned essential maintenance yesterday in the Brennan Road area of Tilbury which included rezoning water to maintain supply for our customers.

"This morning we were made aware that essential repairs were needed in the area and again rezoned water to ensure supplies were running throughout the day. 

"Repair works are underway and we would like to thank local residents for their patience."
