This weekend brings a host of events across the region, including one of the biggest community events in Essex that will attract thousands of people to the village of Horndon on the Hill.

The annual Feast and Fayre takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

As part of Feast and Fayre, St Peter & St Paul's Church will be presenting its flower festival.

There are a host of other events, starting on Friday evening at the Old Regent, Stanford-le-Hope where the ever-opular Hoedown returns.

There will be joy and sadness in equal measure at an event to commemorate the life of muder victim Henry Nowak on Saturday.

A 5K run organised by Chafford Hundred running club aims to bring the community together in memory of Henry and to show support to his family & friends.
