Towmorrow there are two events in Grays organised by the Riverside Community Big Local.

In the morning in Grays Town Park the writer of the acclaimed Baller Boys Books - Venessa Taylor will be hosting a free event with snacks provided.

Venessa returns after a successful first venture last year.

This is a free event aimed at children between four and 12 years of age.

And tomorrow evening another BIG Local FREE event takes place at Thurrock Yacht Club where residents can meet journalist and author, Tim Burrows, as he talks about his book The Invention Of Essex: The Making of an English County

Tim will be discussing his recently published book - described as "A love letter to a county,"

It's a busy weekend in Grays and out third featured event happens on Saturday and Sunday at Grays Beach where community summer market stalls will promote local businesses.
