A THURROCK-based bus company is seeking to honour local residents who lost their life in World War Two.

The Ensign bus company in Purfleet-on-Thames named a number of its vehicles after local residents who died in the first world war.

Now it is seeking to do the same with the names of Purfleet-born service personnel who lost their lives in WW2.

Any information about local people who might be honoured will be gratefully received by the company via email to [email protected]
